Installing the cable drivers

 

Tutorial overview

This tutorial covers the installation of the drivers for the MD-CC30X-001 USB to SPI communication converter.

THe installation will install two sets of drivers onto your PC:

  1. The device drivers for the communications converter
  2. Virtual Communication Port (VCP) drivers to allow Windows to use a USB port to emulate a serial port.

NOTE: These drivers are not compatible with 64-bit Windows operating systems!

What you need:

  1. PC running a 32-bit version of Microsoft Windows
  2. MDrivePlus, MForce or MDrive Hybrid Motion Control
  3. MD-CC30X-001 USB to SPI communication converter cable
  4. MD-CC30X-001 drivers [download now]
