Tutorial overview

This tutorial covers the installation of SPI Motor Interface Graphical User Interface (GUI). It is designed to communicate with and configure parameters of the MDrivePlus & MForce Step / direction input products.

It also contains an upgrader utility which is required to upgrade the firmware in the Step / direction input products.

What you need:
  1. PC running a Microsoft Windows XP Service pack 2 or later
  2. SPI Motor Interface installation package [download now]
  3. An MD-CC30X-001 communication converter with drivers installed on your PC (or equivalent third-party RS-422/485 interface).
  4. An MDrivePlus or MForce Step / direction input connected to communication and power.
